The Ontario Brain Institute is a provincially-funded, not-for-profit research centre seeking to maximize the impact of neurocience and establish Ontario as a world leader in brain research, commercialization, and care. Partnerships are created between patients, researchers, clinicians, industry and advocates to foster discovery and deliver innovative products that improve the lives of those living with neurological conditions.

The current version of the Squag technology was funded by The Ontario Brain Institute, through their Neuroscience Early Research and Development Project.
