Understanding what brings our kids joy (whether we understand why or not) is part of respecting them as individuals. It’s so so awesome to see our kids light up when we engage in a conversation (hopefully a visual one!) in their area of interest for a change.
We created our Squagpads as a social and creative experiences for kids, but also as an opportunity for parents to see what their kids think and feel about things. What they’re drawn to. What their interested in. And to be able to capture it visually and use it as a starting point to nurture and develop these things as they grow.
But the first thing we asked Squag parents was: What brings your kid joy?
